Whistler PRO-73 Review - READ THIS FIRST!

Would advise purchase of the product. Very early detection and minimal false alarms. The pick-up of K and Ka is very early, no laser hits so far. Very few false alarms so far. Longer warranty than the Cobra. The set-up is a little complicated and the instructions could be improved.

This detector has performed. It's a tall order to detect radar on curvy, hilly, tree-lined roads with very limited unobstructed visibility ranging from 50 to 200 yards. This thing sees around corners. I get mostly K and Ka band alerts and they're real.

It did go off when I saw most of the cops, didn’t give me much advanced warning. I usually was in the 70s, if I had been going any faster I would have a ticket. I also got a lot of false X band alerts, usually around trucks, the safety warning is useless and hasn’t gone off once.

Users like the POP detection mode and the blue text display. Function-wise however, Whistler PRO-73 is considered average.
