Cobra XRS 9930 Review - READ THIS FIRST!

I have owned the 9930 for a little over a year and in that timeframe it has paid itself off. The intellimute feature, if done correctly, can eliminate most would be false alarms. Also, this is built with a battery monitor so as not to drain your battery if the voltage is low.

The only thing I can gripe about would be some false alerts from the X and K band from automatic doors. Now it is suggested to turn off X band normally because it is rarely used, but it is used in some states still (like mine) and it has already saved me a couple times.

Well this radar detector is pretty good for the price. But a cop doesn't need a radar to tell your speeding when you’re going a 100 mph in a 35 mph speed zone. But it’s a good product to keep you on alert.
